Kevin Reese, Just-Hunt Founder

Kevin Reese

Kevin, 40, is a lover of his Creator, a father, a husband, a veteran, and a hunter that will spend his life leaving a legacy with his family that will ensure they remain involved in our hunting heritage, including the preservation and conservation of wildlife and their habitats.

Kevin is a freelance writer, photographer, columnist, and poet. Just-Hunt.com was born of his desire to give back to the heritage and sport that has given him so much joy over the years. His desire to bring hunters together from around the world, without argument over who shoots what or varying hunting strategies, is poured out daily on these pages by the members, and they couldn't be in better hands.

Kevin is an archery technician and avid bowhunter. Living in Navarro County, Texas, he has year-round opportunities to chase his favorite game animal, the wild hog; bowhunting them at night with his Hawglite is his favorite method. When seasons permit, Kevin also loves to charge off in pursuit of elk, deer, turkey, ducks, and dove. In the summer of 2008, his brother, Jim, visited and introduced Kevin to the art of bass fishing; Kevin now holds the title of largest bass in the family with a black bass he caught weighing nearly 9 pounds (24" in length, 20" girth).

Kevin is also on the following pro staffs: Mossy Oak Camouflage, Medalist HuntGear, ThermaCELL, Hawglite, The Buck Bomb, StarrFlight Archery, ProString Archery, RedHawk Archery, Valkyrie Archery, Titan Hunting Graphics, Spittler's Custom Game Calls

Kevin is a member of: Professional Outdoor Media Association (Voting Member), National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited (Chapter Committee Member)
