Pattern, What Pattern?

What better topic to write about in the outdoors than those beasts that captured my passion the first time I sought them out?

Hogs are a peculiar animal. They do what they want, when they want, and how they want to do it. A hunter scarcely sees another animal as difficult to pattern as a wild (feral) hog; trying to pattern them generally results in a great loss of hair, dignity, and respect among hunting buddies who already understand that patterning is nearly futile.

No matter what Josh is hunting, he continues to demonstrate the epitome of success as a result of hard work, determination, strategy, and yes, he'll even admit, a bit of luck.

Before joining the Just-Hunt Pro Staff, Josh was also the Just-Hunt Fall Slam Champion Hunter, harvesting exponentially more animals, from deer to ducks, than the nearest competitor. Josh's keen ability to harvest animals did not come easily, Like all of us, hunting is a passion instilled in him through learning.

True to his roots, Josh dedicates a significant amount of his outdoor time to introducing others to the outdoors. For this reason and more, we celebrate Josh as our featured Pro Staffer.
